Indonesia's economy is the largest in Southeast Asia and the 15th largest in the world, with an annual gross domestic product (GDP) of approximately USD $940.9 billion (2016). In 2014, the service sector was the most prominent employer in Indonesia, accounting for 45% of local workers (compared to just a third in 1990).
